Julian Vance is an award-winning fingerstyle acoustic guitarist and sound architect based out of the Pacific Northwest. Seamlessly blending traditional American primitive guitar patterns with complex modern tapping, percussive body-knocking, and live tape-loop manipulation, Julian redefines what a solo acoustic instrument can convey.
His atmospheric sets range from cinematic post-rock climaxes to fragile, whisper-quiet microtonal melodies. Every live performance is an organic, fully-improvisational conversation between wood, wire, and space—guaranteeing that no two concerts are ever the same.
